All general chiropody (corns, callous, verrucas, skin conditions, athletes foot, ulcerations, foot deformities, bunions, hammer toes, etc.)

Nail surgery - total or partial permanent removal of nail
Nail conditions - thick, dammaged or fungled nails
High Risk Patient - diabetics, rheumatoid or arthritic treated
Heel Pain - planter fasciitis, heel spur, bruising, cracked skin around heels
Biomechanical Assessments - alignment of hips, knees and ankle joints
Orthotics - custom made, prescribed and fitted (arch support)
Gain analysis - walking difficulties
Advice - footwear and general foot care


It is important to make sure your Chiropodist / Podiatrist is registered with the Health Professions Council and is properly qualified after a three year long degree level course recommended by the Department of Education.


This will ensure that a strict code of practise will be followed and total foot care will be undertaken using advanced techniques. Continuous professional development courses have to be attended regularly to keep up to date and registered with the HPC - (Health Professions Council)

Patty Groves has over 25 years experience in chiropody in both private practice and the National Health Service.  She is registered with the Health Professions Council and is HSA and BUPA recognised. 
Patty has lived in Highcliffe for many years and has a long established practice at the Highcliffe Clinic. Patty pioneered the chiropody service aboard the QE2 and Canberra and has travelled the world with her career.
She provides a professional, thorough, friendly chiropody service for all general chiropody (corns, callous, verrucas, skin conditions, athletes' foot, ulceration, foot deformities, bunions, hammer toes, etc), for nail condition, including nail surgery, biomechanical assessment and can also prescribe orthotics.  Home visits are available for patients unable to travel to the Clinic.
