Mr Simon Richards MB BS. FRCS (Tr & Orth)
Mr Simon Richards is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Bournemouth and Poole. He trained in London on the London University programme. After completing his training, he completed Fellowships in Australia on hip and knee replacement surgery, and then in Derby on upper limb surgery.
Mr Richards will be carrying out Private Consultation Clinics at Highcliffe Clinic. He will be available for all aspects of Orthopaedic problems with the exception of spinal and foot disorders.
Examples of his regular workload include hip and knee replacements, key-hole surgery of the knee, shoulder, elbow and wrist, as well as all aspects of upper limb arthritic conditions and sporting injuries.
If any post operative follow-up or therapy is required, this can also be carried out by Mr Richards and the in-house physiotherapist.
